So I didn't notice this at first, but after sending the pictures to some people, they said my Z is the only Z with this.....




Tell me if you notice whats different from all other Z's..

Im not sure whether to atrribute it to your camera, or not, but it appears that your dash illumination is more green rather than orange/amber.

Yeah...those were actually the detuned version of the rest got. It carries the preproduction 4cyl making 160hp. lol j/k.

well your pins or whatever their called(the moving part that says the reading) looks whitish, so I think its your camera lighting unless their both off. specially since a person took a picture of their stereo head that had its color matching the Z's amber, and that color was off as well.

so was that the real difference? cause I dont see anything else different...

if your gauges are indeed green, that sucks. I like the amber...

 

Well my lighting is fine, because I use that camera for eveyrthing else and it came out fine, the color of the wheels, everything.. And yeah, thats whats weird, the green. It's cool that it's the only green one, but I'm tired of green, I want red, but at the same time, it's nice to have a completely different one that stands out :P

 

Well in a few months there will be all different guage colors available from the aftermarket.

I don't know if the discolorations are a camera effect, but the needles do look pretty white.

 

Wow Ricky, I thought you had given up all hope on getting the Z... good stuff!

 

I hope the aftermarket world offers Blue just like the Passatt, that is sweet!

how does it look when the light is off? in the morning? you can change the bulbs on the interior to change the coloring of the lighted areas... if i am not mistaking.. maybe you got one of the ones that was last batch off the lot, and they ran out of amber bulbs... hehe.. jk, it does look kinda good in a way... i will maybe try changing allmy lighting to blue if possible...

 

I thought you gave up on the Z and decided to go with the IS300 because of your mom???? Something smells fishy!

 

Here is the answers to all questions..

1) I did have trouble taking delivery, but at the last minute my dad offered to help for the first 1 year insurance (which by the way I took all you advice and found a different company witha MUCHHHHH lower rate, because my mom put it under her, and I took over insurance on her car)

2) Was going to get an IS300, but mom has one, so there is no point in owning 2 of them, so I took the Z instead

3) The ticket problem was cleared because maryland sent a notice to the DMV to remove the ticket off my record since it should have never been added since I was 15 at the age of the ticket.

Everything worked out well for me, still a little stress from everything I went through, but now that I have the car in my driveway, it's totally worth it.
