I hear lots of rattle complaints... but for me, I get a rattle from the drivers door handle under extreme bass, but havent noticed it recently, so maybe it settled and stopped.

other points of noise have been the mirror and the rear strut bar. Ive never had a rattle from either place.

 

my Z is rattle factory. I get a new one every couple of weeks, and I have to hunt it down!

Yeah, I've got a loud rattle around the VDC switch, something on teh passenger side, and the door panels rattle with the stereo on (no, my bass isn't turned up)... there's also a mysterious rattle in the rear hatch that I notice when I back out of the driveway...

 

Thats funny. Maybe I'm lucky. My car is the most solid car I have ever driven in. Seat belts rattle a tiny bit if NOT in their little clips. Once clipped in, this car has No rattles, no sounds, nothing, quiet smooth, fast, gas efficient, what else can you ask for??

I'm rattle free as well.. even without the passenger belt clipped in.

I'm sure the rest of the car will MORE than make up for the little rattles here and there. My BMW rattles like a b1tch, but it's so much fun to drive, I could really care less about the annoying bits.

 

hehe yeah my last BMW didnt rattle, it squeeked. huge PITA. Z is a million times better.

 

At this time.. no rattles.... gotta love that... ran with the windows down today.. beautiful day... started shifting around 4 instead of 2... love the sounds...

No rattles so far the car is tight

 

A few rattles, especially over rough roads.

Slight rattle on the drivers door, near the window sill.
Slight rattle from the rear view mirror (pinching the mirror makes it stop)
Slight rattle from the rear (probably strut bar as noted by others)
BIG rattle from the passenger visor.

My drivers seat has significant side to side play, so I'm going to try and get a new rear view mirror, passenger visor, and driver's seat before my warranty expires.

4500 miles so far, so I've got some time.

The only rattle I have is the strut bar. I have a squeak from the suspension, probably a dry bushing. nothing else to speak of besides Bose of course.

 

I have just about 1000 miles on my touring, and no rattles so far as long as I keep the passenger belt in the clip.
