You crack me up Bonz!

Got to admit, that sandwich looks very good. I thinkwe may need to create a new thread with pictures of food worthy of sharing. I was up late a few weeks ago, and saw this whole documentary on hot dogs. There were quite a few places that I wish I would've written down, so that if I ever was in the area, I'd remember to check out.

Pat's looks like a place to visit for sure.

Im a die hard Pats fan to the bone. I have gotten into heated discussions over cheesesteaks with freinds, people can get pretty militant about their steak. Geno's, Pats, Jims are the tree major players in Philly, and everyone has their favorites...but if you know anything about cheesesteaks, you know that Pat's it by far the best. Right now, I'm dreaming about a "Wiz Wid". Thoose pics made me drool by the way. BTW, you can get a Pat's T-shirt from their site, Patskingofsteaks.com, to show you really are a fan.

Default Hey Brad4rdHay

When you get you Z, let me know when your going to stop by Pat's. Maybe I can swing down there and we could have a Little Z Meeting at Pat's ...

Right outside Philly (on the Jersey side...) Will be moving to Haddonfield, NJ at the end of August, so I'll be even closer. Daytona Blue Touring on the way...Never been to Pat's Steaks - but do they make chicken cheese steaks? I'm not a red meat-eater I'd be willing to drive there for a Z meeting sometime in September..

Jill, if you ordered a veggie or chicken "cheesesteak" at Pat's you would probably be taking your life in your hands. It would be like a Dallas Cowboy fan wearing all of his colors to an Eagles game! You'd be askin' for a serious beatin'. They even have a sign outside that gives you the rules for ordering. (i.e. do all of your borrowing in line....and....if you make a mistake go to the end of the line. Not unlike the "Soup ****" on Seinfeld. Seriously, check out the website listed above for the rules. And BTW Brad, I DO have a Pat's teeshirt! My usual order is "two cheese wit" (that means two cheeze wiz steak sandwiches with onions). MAN am I hungry now. PAT'S RULES!

Pat's does rule! You guys are making me homesick. Lived in and around Philly for 25 years. Going to visit for the 4th. Can't wait for some real food!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm....I like me some cheesesteaks! I head down to Philly pretty often, and I always make a point to pick one up somewhere. Is that place on South Street? If it's the place I'm thinking of, we were going to grab lunch there, but the line was down the block...we went somewhere else...apparently a bad move!

Bonz...don't think I've ever met anyone who's taken a picture of a cheesesteak before...that's borderline scary...you must reeeeally like them! It does look really good in a, 'I might have to take a shower after eating this to get all the grease off me' kind of way though.

"people can get pretty militant about their steak" wow...coming to these boards makes me feel more and more normal by the second.

Pass the ketchup please.

Pat's is THE place for Philly cheesesteaks, period. It is on a little triangular patch of land that is formed by the intersection of three streets, Wharton, 9th, and Passyunk in South Philly. If you hit any one of those, you'll eventually run into it.

Ketchup on a Pat's Steak.....that would be blasphemy!

You think it's fanatical to take a pic of the sandwich. What do you think of this!!!

Man, I can't wait to watch you eat one of those some day. I'll bet it will be akin to the fake orgasm scene in Sleepless in Seattle.

Bonz...where are you in the Burgh? I grew up in the north hills area. Pittsburgh's a nice place...i miss it sometimes.
