So coming home from work this afternoon, I was stopped at a light. When the light changes, the car in front of me goes, and I guess the ball was in fron of their tire, and just rolled under their car, and under mine. I heard it roll out from my back bumper. I got out and checked the car, and I guess the plate underneath my car to protect the underside of the engine is hanging down on the right side. Looks like it just pulled it away from the bolt. Going to jack it up tomorrow for a better look. You guys have any suggestions on how to fix this aside from getting a new part?
The under tray is held on by 10mm screws/nuts, if you didnt strip the plastic around these, just get some new ones, and you'll be fine. BTW you could just zip tie it back up, but it would be pretty ghetto....
Use a washer.
There's always duct tape too.
Sorry for the sarcasm. It's just the mood I woke up with this morning.
Seriously, just put a washer under the head of the 10mm body screw.
^ It's similiar to the force man, not star wars . I don't imagine a basketball could do any serious damage, so just get some new screws and you should be fine.
