I have a question? Those look like Nissan rims, I didn't know that Nissan made 20" rims. I thought 18" was the biggest?

Nissan DOESN'T make 20" rims & yes those are the OEM rims that is on the picture. When he purchased the car, the previous owner put an aftermarket emblem under the side Z emblem.

thanks again for all the input too this....i feel i know my Z better now...

sorry for the fotos that make the vehicle look dirty, those are the actuall fotos the dealer had on the website and conveniently used them to show you all my concerns.
I keep my Z it is spotlesssssss........!!!
As far as for the 20" Dub emblems, i am having a detailing this week and at the same time having them removed...Also, Nice to have a carbon-fiber engine cover and a AEM CAI, but something that ran through my mind was since the dealer didn't mention anything about the Z having already a AEM CAI installed in, does this probably void any warranty...? maybe Nissan doesn't cover any aftermarket products...something to look into...

thank all

GTNPU,

I didn't think Nissan made 20" rims, I guess what I meant was so the previous owner put the emblem on but really didn't have 20" rims? Maybe they took them off when they sold the car. Sorry just me thinking out loud.

Fresburg representing, that's funny! No hard feelings, I used to live in Visalia for a few years. Poor air quality drove me north to take advantage of the Delta breeze and fresher air.

Yeah, I figured the same thing. The previous owner must have had 20's when he slapped on that emblem because if he didn't....I don't know WTF he was thinking about . Maybe he thought it looked "cool" or gave him 20 more HP . I have 20's but I'll NEVER put anything like that on my car.

I agree. Be on the lookout for TSB fixes such as tire feathering, window streaking, headlight fogging, etc...I have a '03 as well & I had my share of 1st year bugs.

ha....i think i am taking it back to the dealer...although i did remove the emblems and God it looks better but when i went around the car amazed at the shine of the car i noticed some paint chipped off and the color lightly faded at certain spots. When i dropped the car off it wasnt even a week since i had the car, so i knew every single detail of the car, and i also knew the color wasnt chipped of nor was color faded at any place. I nearly had a heart attack!!! and asked them where did those come from? they said they were there when they got it. hell no! anyway, i showed it to a body shop, and was told that the rear and front bumper had been re-painted. and so had been the side quarter panel around the antena. and thats why the color chipped off and faded. also there was a little debris/dust under the paint which made it noticeable. Not necessarily am i thrilled about the idea, but if the previous owner had some minor scratches and had them touched up in order to sell is all right, what if the car was in a accident or something else that the carfax didnt come up with?

The dealer isnt really giving me a hard time about it, they are understanding, and i think they are willing to re-paint it and touch things up.
Not to mention that one of the bolt screws is a different color, could be because of the CAI AEM already installed.

now i need a mechanic to look and see what else could have been modified on it. maybe the engine or so...

i did get it in a good deal just under 23000, touring, black with black leather, bose 6cd, keyless entry with alarm and remote startup. homelink, heated seats really spotless inside, spotless engine, and what used to be spotless exterior all the way around, 14000 miles, AEM CAI already installed...(dont know yet if anything else has been installed)...

oufff, i should had just bought a new one, but thought it is pretty convinient since i couldnt find another as perfect as that one...

here come frustration....xtos
