Uh oh, here goes the entire manual vs. auto debate. I'm a fan of the MT but when the new Mustang GT500 information came out, it prompted me do a search for the original GT500KR (1968). I was shocked to find that the majority of the GT500KR (KR-King of the Road and most badass Shelby) out there for sale were automatics. I remember a lot of Chevelle SS396 cars being autos as well. Of course these were straight line drag cars too.

Anyone know what year they first put an automatic in a Ferrari, Lambo - i.e. real sports cars?
