Unhappy Drove a manual 350z for the first time

God I was scared shitless now I know why they make FWD cars. I turned off the traction control in a parking lot floored it and yanked the steering wheel. The car was fun non the less my friend claimed the car didnt have much high end power. He loved the car non the less and he is a domestic guy. Well I explained to him Japanese cars and German have smooth powerbands. So the power is there you just arent feeling it. We took it on the twisties it was a hell of a time!

Felt alot diff then an auto G35

Doubt it.

Pretty soon (and even now in some cases) autos will surpass the manual for performance duty.

They'll never be as fun though

Nice to have accept in bumper-to-bumper stop-n-go traffic that LA is famous for ... and you've got bum legs thanks to the US Navy.

I'm trying to work out how the VA can pay for my auto transmissions for now on.

Mercs aren't sports cars imo. More of a GT-type of car.

6MT is great most of the times, except when ur stuck in traffic that stops n goes at like 3mph. so damn tiring, but well worth it.

Who would buy a Sports Car and order it in a auto? It's like driving a Viper and wanting it to be an automatic.

I drove a BMW with a SMG tranny. Almost as good as a stick but not quite.

I live in SF, people always ask me "how do you drive all those roads and steep hills in SF with a stick?", I always respond "how don't you drive all these streets without a stick!" Too much fun.
