(car only has 8K) On the way home on the freeway I find out my car no longer has a 5th gear!!!!!!!!!! It's like it's completely locked out! I tried everything to get it in.. like 15-20 times!!!!!! I'm telling them to just give me a BRAND NEW Z tomorrow or deal with my lawyer!!!!!!!

I feel bad for you man. Its one thing not to be able to drive the Z due to it being in the shop for mods. Having it @ nissan 3-4 or 5 times for warantee work totally sucks. Driving it home after warranty work only to find another problem is unprofessional and assinine. I say drive it right back to them and tell them you want a new Z or you are getting a lawyer. Be firm, if they start to BS you leave right away and tell them your lawyer will contact them.

It sucks, cause I absolutely love everything about the Z.... except this problem crap
On another note... I saw a black roadster Z with the stock 17" wheels powdercoated/paintmatched black, and I'm doing it ASAP!!!!!!! looked awesome!!

Please don't take this the wrong way but I watched the vids of racing against the rsx type-s, I see pics of your car on the dyno, I’ve seen you post about racing your car, all that on a brand new engine that wasn’t broken in. I mean you were really hard on your car man. Im not surprised it blew on you.
I do think it sucks that they didn’t fix it properly. I would be happy that they are fixing it at all. Cause basically you beat the crap out of your car, broke it, and now Nissan has to pay for your errors.
