Top 10 Best Engines in the World Award...
I was reading that Nissan's VQ35DE engine, enlarged from 3.0 to 3.5 liters in 2002 for the 350Z, has been on Ward's Auto World Magazine's "10 Best Engines of the World" list for 10 consecutive years! No other engines, including BMW and Corvette, have matched that record.
Does anyone have a car with an older example of this engine with more than 125K miles on it? How is it holding up?

My mom had her jeep break down, so she got her 280z running. Being her highschool car now mid 40's(ssshhhh) and over 250,000 miles on it, she is in good shape. I know she didnt have to do much to the car except get a new battery and she was good to go.

The most reliable vehicle I have owned was a 94 Pathfinder with the 3.0 liter V6 (160,000 miles). This engine is known far and wide for bulletproof reliability. I bought the Z partially because it's badass, but mostly because it's a Nissan to boot.
