Ram Air.
Now, I have seen a few kits that take advantage of the Z's air intake positioning. This car is the perfect candidate for a ram air system, but what I would like to see is a scoop that attaches to the stock inlet and goes down into the radiator opening. That should be a pretty high pressure area at speed and the positive pressure should add ad least a few ponies. What do you guys think?

I would assume it would give some benefit....
Some of the planes I have been flying lately take advantage of ram air efect. There's a control in the cockpit that opens a slide door to a NACA scoop which re-routs air directly to the carb. It's an unfiltered scoop so it's best when opened up at a few thousand feet in clean air.
There is a significant increase in power when opened. I get about an extra 100 RPM. May not sound like much but thats alot in airplanes. I'd estimate the power gains to be about 15hp. Fuel economy is better too because I can lean the mixture a bit more.
Of course all this is happening at about 140mph. At 80mph I dunno.... I suppose if the scoop was just the right shape.

Looked like the Mine's post has an air duct. That was an alternative to the CAI on the hondas/acuras. Comptech charged 200 or so for a standard airbox with a tube going down to the front(in place of the stock resonator tube). It did make the hp that the CAI would make but without the fear of waterlock. Now one of the guys on the acura forum made one out of PVC for $12 or less. So make one.. save some money. =D
