Hey, I finally got my Clarion and Sony EQ put in with that Metra Kit.

It looks good, but I never figured out how to mount it so that it's flush with the surface all the way.

I only see the center being flush though.

I feel your pain on trying to get the damn thing flush in that Metra kit. I even called their tech support line to get help...no luck. My problem is I installed the new Alpine 7998 with the phatom face that flips out. If the deck is recessed to much the face won't open, so I might just have to deal with the whole unit sticking out a bit. It's not an issue when is open, because the damn thing is so big and bright!
