Will base model wheels fit on track ?
I'm trying to outfit winter tires, unfortunately, there are no tires available with same spec for track. But I did encounter some that will fit perfectly on base model. What I'm most concerned with is clearance with brembo brakes on track...

I have no idea, but one thing to see is, measure the spare tire size. I think it will fit, but dont go ordering rims on that.
I thought the track had 18" spare to clear the brembos, but someone with a track had said it doesnt. you can say for sure.

I have not driven my Z over the snow yet, and to add to that there was ZBOY's case, where his car ended up in a wreck driving in a snow. Even at 10mph. Which had me worried a whole lot for my Z has to carry me to work over the winter months.
So I was wondering what S2000 owners were doing (over the past years I did see quite a few of them driven on the snow). So I do my research in S2000 forums. To my surprise there were number of S2K owners who drive theirs like it is meant to be driven on the snow. With proper winter footware, they even claim that they can outpass SUVs. This further made me think, I know lot of you guys recommend getting a winter beater and store away their Zs, for our Z being a rwd. Then what about other RWDs like BMWs and MBs? I see whole load of those during the winter. Surely they baby their vehicle, but why would they risk it, if it were so bad in snow? I guess I just have to try it out and see if I can survive the game.
