How low is a stock 350Z?
Can someone go and measure for me exactly how low a 350z is at stock height? ...measuring from the front bumper or whatever the lowest point may be?
I've been thinking about getting a Z but unfortunately I live in San Francisco and have an extremely steep driveway. The worst thing would be for me to get the car and not even be able to park it in my garage without scraping the front bumper each time.
My friend has a S2000 and although his front bumper can clear everything, there's a small plastic mud guard in front of the front tire which does scrape slightly.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's no easy way to check what you want to. Just because you know the minimum clearance doesn't mean you'll be able to figure out if you'll scrape. Think about it, a short vehicle with the same clearance as a long vehicle will clear differently. For example, a limo will have a much harder time clearing things a car with the came clearance would. Just test drive one and tell the dealer you have to make sure it'll go up your driveway. It sounds crazy but if you're just a few (less than 10) miles from the dealer they'll probably let you.

I understand what everyone is saying as far as other factors besides the height but for now I just need a rough approximation. From my measurements, I'll need at least 4 inches of clearance. Does that sound possible?
