Default My 350Z....WARNING not for the Squeamish!

Just wanted to present myself here since I happened to find this website while searching for parts and now I cant leave this place!

Well, here's my car....The car was totaled after heavy rain and high speeds...dumb ***!.....I couldnt part from it so I purchased it from the insurance company after the payoff (dirt cheap). I took it over to a Z speacilist (Body Shop) and he's making kick **** progress. I'll post more pics as he completes stuff!

Is that on 03 or 04 and greater? If it is, I am wondering what color the interior is. Cause I am interested in a few parts. Mainly the compartment in the back (glove box). I could take that off your hands, and maybe the seatbelts. <M>

For the uniformed, that second pic is not the recommended way to turn the stock intake into a ram-air style intake!

It wasnt rolled....Here is the story......

I was exiting a freeway off ramp when I noticed I was going to fast for the curve, I tried to slow down a bit, but it was to late as I was entering a curve so I let off the brake and the gas to coast (45 mph) and avoid a spin out, but it was unavoidable. As I approached the intersection the car was traveling west, but pointing north/south as oposing traffic was traveling east a car hit me on the front passenger side which caused me to lose even more control and spun around (heading north/west) as I ended up creaming into a light pole and a tree next to it.

The hole in the windshield was a large branch that broke off the tree and landed on it.

I sufured minor scrapes and bruises, but the air bag as safe as it is...it kicks your faces *** when deployed!

Belive it or not, the shop is only charging me $4000 for labor and I estimate to pay another $3000-$4000 in parts (the owner is letting me use his 30% off dealer liscense for parts). I have been going to this body shop for at least 5 years now and I refer them a lot of business so he is good to me (it helps that his daughter likes me). He does excellent metal and body work! He also has all the frame straighting equipment.

I only have one Z, but like I said the body work will be done by an exprienced Z repair man! Thats another see hes working on. He has fixed his share of Z's in the past (and present) and he has made excellent progress thus far.

Wow. That is amazing you weren't hurt. Glad to hear it. Now they have to repaint the whole car, so look on the bright side.... you can get better paint that won't chip as bad!

Ha....That is a bright side, but the paint is the least of my problems when the frame is involved! The shop already replace the right side frame rail and half of the left side rail. It's definetly a work in progress.

Can you believe that the body shop will finish this car in a three weeks (1 month total)! They kick ****!
