I've read a number of posts on how the VIN is constructed. I know mine is a 2003 and was #21240, can someone tell me the approximate build date of the vehicle? I bought it used, but cannot find anything that says the build date, just the original purchase date of OCT 2003. Thanks in advance.

On the driver's side, open the door and look just
below the door latch on the car. You should see
a label containing lots of cool info such as build date.
My tag is white so you probably can't miss it.

My VIN is only a couple hundred larger than yours
and my Z has a June, 2003 build date. Good luck.

Thanks so much! Mine is also June 2003. I'm just thinking of extended warranty options and wondering how much longer I have to decide. I've looked at the Nissan website, but only get descriptions of their plans, not prices.
