I really like those rims. Looks real good on your car. Look almost like the GTC with a twist, shaken not stirred. Now for the lowering springs to complete the look. Way to go man!!! BEN

Thanks Guys

I am thinking of lowering it, but I drive in an Ontario/Michigan winter and ground clearance can be an issue.

Yes they are bling compared to other Volks, but the offset still makes them look agressive. I like the look.

The GT-V are nice too. I was considering them, but decided on these instead. I have the same offset as that guy with the GT-Vs.

All else being equal (as in weight, where the weight is concentrated, etc.), the larger you go over 17's the slower you car will be. The tracks's lightweight 18's helps counteract this (unsprung weight reduction, rotating mass reduction, and all that).

Notice that you don't see any bling wheels on real race carz . . .

I know this, already considered it before I bought them. I don't race the car. We were talking about the look, as is the case in most people that go with 19s.

BTW...who asked for that lecture? It has been discussed in many other threads.
