I've been in the 120-130 range a handful of times.. My top is 141 with some more pull left in the hopper but I shut it down...
I haven't gone past 100 really since I got a ticket last May. I guess you can say I learned my lesson but at least I can say I pushed it close to the top.
Be careful out there and don't get over-zealous even though you think you can handle it. One little pot hole, roadkill, or debris on the road will send you spinnin', flippin', rollin' or maybe even flyin' at those speeds.

this guy will know where im talkin about. 154 on 3 mile bridge it was fun, and it came up quick as hell
Edit: btw...that was 154...in a 45

158 MPH on the Autobahn!!
I am in the Army and currently stationed in Germany. I have had my 2003 Track up to 158mph on several occasions. The last 10 mph seem to take awhile to get to. I have also taken the Z to the Formula One track in Nurenburg and driven it with 50 other speed hungry Germans in everything from cheap BMWs to full on racing Porches...It was a lot of fun. It only cost 50 Euro too. Driving in Germany has spoiled me for good on driving the US speed limits...I may have to retire over here to stay out of jail!!

159 on Beltway 8 north part of the loop in Houston at bout 3am. Super stable, lots of fun.... with A/C on so may she had something left in her with it off... but she was maxed out with it on.. or maybe that's the limiter speed? Anyways this was back a while in my 03 totally stock black 350z. I havn't yet maxed out my 04 upgraded Nismo 350z yet.. just had her up to bout 140 for a short burst. We'll see.

BTW.. doesn't it just seem like snails pace when you bring it back even to 100mph afterwards? It's very hard to willingly go back to cruising at 80mph *60-speed limit*

I hit 140mph then quickly shut it down, I was aiming for 150's but realized, hey this is pretty damn fast already. But maybe I'll find a safe place to do it some other time.

146 is the fastest in my Z...I've hit 120-130 a few times for short bursts. I'm just too scared to get arrested going that fast. Back when I was younger (and possibly dumber), I hit 165mph a couple of times...
I've had many speeding tickets in my life, and three more tickets last year (all in my Ford Taurus company car, none in the Z). Thankfully, through plea arrangements none of the three went on my driving record, which is currently clean. Since I have to drive a lot for business, my company checks my driving record every other year. A 130mph+ ticket/arrest coiuld cause me to lose my job.
I'm going to wait for a track day to hit 150+

I got it up to 137 on a long stretch of the Great River Road near Alton, IL. I'm not even sure what the speed limit is there (40? 45?). I shut it down because I started getting some Ka band blips. Never saw a cop though. In that area you've got the Mississippi on one side of the road and cliffs on the other. There aren't many places for the cops to sit near there. I was hoping to take it up to the 159-ish limit, but I've never had a ticket (in 14 years of driving) and wasn't about to start. Damn radar detector. :-/

120 in a 1994 camry le. 3 months into getting my license, dumbest **** i ever did, that car handled so bad, it felt like it was floating lol. But it was 3AM, only saw two other cars on the road, and it was the 210 after glendale, which i hardly ever see cops on. And 140 in my brothers 2004 325Ci. Also around 110 in my sisters 2002 Jetta 1.8t...

I've hit 140 about 9 or 10 times, no problem with it feeling light in the steering cause I have the VARIS front lip and the front lowwer diffuser. I went 140 three times going to work one day when three different cars hit me up. 1st was an MR2 TURBO, 2nd was
a GTI turbo, and the 3rd was a BMW Z-4, all right after each other.
that was the fastest it took me to get to work. Its real stable with that front kit from VARIS.

145 and she was nice and stable, then on the way back from phoenix in 100+ degree weather through the desert I stayed pretty stable at 120MPH for most of the trip(slowing down here and there when coming into populated areas). Temp didn;t raise all that much. I can say that doing 120 in the desert I felt like I doing maybe 90 in my old dropped civic but less wind/road noise(just put new tires on and got a 30K tune-up)....DO NOT ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS at 130MPH UNless you don;t want to hear anything for a few hours
