How fast have you gone?

How fast have you gone?
I definitely do not think this is the wisest thing I've done but thought I'd share.
This weekend, on an interstate I know pretty well with NO cars or cops in sight, heading from Austin to Houston, I decided to see what she could do. Did two 115 mph runs, incredibly stable (unlike my modified 1996 Accord at 115mph which started to get shaky, FYI: my previous highest speed). Hit 141mph, got too chicken, and stopped there. And she was still pulling. Still very stable, but NEVER AGAIN. It was those one time deals for me, but exciting and FAST nonetheless.
BTW, 1600 miles on the odometer at that point. My "post break-in" procedure

I got my z into the triple digits for the first time on the road yesterday. Hit 120 racing a Cadillac CTS on the highway. And yes, it was suprsingly stable, felt the same as going 60 or 80

How fast....
125mph on a closed circuit...wouldnt try anything like that on streets or highways, my insurance rates are dirt cheap and I would like to keep it that way.

There was a HUGE thread on this a few months back... I've maxed it out at 159 (on a closed course of course ) along with a number of other people...

Drove a 2002 M3 SMG Convertible 120 mph when i worked for BMW.
Drove my brother's 2001 Mustang GT 115 mph today!!
Sadly though, both times i felt REALLY stupid...but it was soo easy.

Hit 159mph in digital speedo.
It was very stable. But wind noise was crazy.
Took several SLIGHT left/right curves (highway curves) and the car was holding on the road fine.
But man the needle on the speedo was moving SLOW after 150mph.
Great acceleration for 300hp car though.
Tachometer was at around 5200rpm, and maintained over 150mph for 15 minutes, temperature hike was negligible. (My cars almost stock in terms of engine mods except intake/exhaust.)
Wonder how fast FI Z's with speed limiter removed can go?
Say, 190mph sounds possible with those with built engines? (Good cooling system should be a must in that case IMO.)
