What problems do the vettes have? Every other post on here is a problem with a 350Z.

No **** fairladyz i read all about z having problems. I am only 16 right now and i think i should get the vette because a 16 year old with a vette is ridiculous. They are faster for paying the same price and what mods do u really have to do to a vette they are sick already. With a z you need a body kit and rims to even look as cool as vette. Plus i think ill pick up a lot more chicks in a vette at 16. Plus the 99 vettes look just like the 04s.

if you're 16 you dont need a sports car, you need a civic.

You asked for it.

Unless you`re over 20, I suggest you never post your age on this forum, ever. It`s looked down upon here to be young and have a Z, because chances are you didnt pay for it yourself.

Sigh,

Hope this doesn't turn into another "But I work my a** off at the local Burger King, save all my money, and live with my parents, so I DESERVE to drive a nice car."

We should really have another forum for these threads

C5 is aging badly already, the new one is such an advancement over the old. And its pathetic to decide on a car based on how many "ladies" you get... can you say INSECURE? Just get the 6yr old vette, Z's are reserved for driving enthusiasts.

It's not my fault my mom has a really good job and can afford to buy me a $25000 car in cash. How many of you can say you paid for your car in full cash without a loan. Don't hate.

i didnt post that because hes not paying for it, i could careless about that. I know how 16 year olds drive, and the last thing in the world they need is a rwd sports car. I wanted one when i was 16 and im glad my parents bought me a civic instead.

Rattles, rattles, rattles. The Vette is a special car, not really a mass production car, and so some simple parts are in amazing places that are very expensive to get at and fix. The early reports are that the new Vette is tight and rattle free. So I am starting to save up my pennies for a Vette roadster down the line.

+1....one thing 16 year olds are good at is crashing cars. Now im not saying that you will crash a Z or a Vettte if you had one. Im just saying that if I had a 16 year old son, I wouldnt buy him a fast car made out of recycled beer cans (nothing but trouble will follow).
