Default Hello From Arkansas

New guy here! Just wanted to get started and say hello. I have a 03 SB Track w/Nav and love the car. I'm just dissapointed in the feathering issue which just cost me $788.00 to get fixed because I was five months out side the extention warranty that Nissan had in place. It did take care of my problem but I'm worried that I will have to deal with this 6k to 10k miles down the road. My question is: should I sell my car or keep it? One more thing...How do I post pics of my car? Thanks!

Default Welcome to the family!

I bought my DB Roadster Easter weekend and I'm loving it. I also have an '84 300ZX.
FYI for you Arkansas owners, there are 2 Z Clubs in Arkansas that I know of. You may want to check into them.
Also, my Z club, the Heart of America Z Car Club based in Kansas City, is hosting the Branson Z Fest in Branson, MO. beginning this Wednesday, May 18. So far over 100 cars have registered with people coming from as far away as Phoenix, Canada, and the East Coast. Check out www.BransonZFest.com for more info.
Hope to Z you there.

I have not been back to Arkansas since 1980's. At that time, imports were not common. Are imports selling more there or is it still mostly American cars? My bet is you really stand out owning a 350Z.

I would say things have changed a great deal in 20 years. There are 4 G35 coupes on my block and Z's everywere here in Little Rock. I didnt know we had 2 Z clubs in central AR. The import scene very disorganized here. The AutoX guys have some heavily modded imports, but we dont have any 'tuner' shops to speak of. Well, I take that back, I hear there's a well known 240 shop just north of us. But I've not been there.

I was driving in the mountains in Northern AR last year. I was enjoying my spot as nicest car on the road when 4 *hot* heavily modded 300zx ripped my doors off. I wasnt running with them or even tried, but it's nice to see. We've got 280's and 240 widebody's running around too.

I've had my G all over the state and I dont get any attitude, only compliments. Now, southern MO, like around Cape, is another story. I thought I was going to get keyed. Southern AR has too many problems to worry about what I'm driving.

Its a great place to own a Z/G. 10 min drive and I'm out of the traffic and into some very twisty highways. Hey, it's Sunday! Time to gas up and head out to my favorite roads!

all 10-15 mins outside of the city. The guy that lives in Heber Springs has INCREDIBLE roads, when he's not stuck behind an RV (towing a boat). And he has one of the top rated Nissan dealers in the 5 state region within a few miles (Superior). Speaking of, I get jerked around in the city with our Nissan dealers.. But in those smaller towns, I just dont think they can afford to dismiss customers like that. I've driven up there before and was treated like a king.. like I'm treated at Infiniti.
