WTF?? You couldn't out-manuever and overtake a MINI-VAN?? Dude, you should have gone thru a red light or make a super fast turn down a side street. NO WAY would I let some MF in a Ford Aerostar or Dodge Caravan chase me down!

BTW: If this guy had a gun, you might have EASILY been killed....since he was right next to you at close range. Consider THAT the next time you decide to provoke another motorist!

I think the original poster of this thread sounds like a smart guy personally. We all make mistakes and do stupid things that we regret from time to time. The difference is that smart people will learn from it. It sounds like this guy has, and his attitude about it is excellent.

Hind site is always 20/20, as is the site from those of us here reading the story. The truth is that none of us know what we would have done in that particular situation. I think the important thing here is that no individual was physically hurt or worse.

Don't get me wrong. I am a conservative and I do get holiday cards from the White House. I do carry a gun. I am also trained in handling all manner of firearms. I shoot competition, IPSC, USPSA, and so on. That does not mean that the gun is comming out for some jerk that dents my door. Wanna know whats comming out? A pen and paper. His plate # is going on that paper and there goes his insurance if he has any. They'll pay for the repairs and he'll get in alot of trouble. All of this and still nobody gets hurt.

If my gun comes out, you're getting shot. Period. Thats why you'll likely never see my gun come out, because those situations are few and far between. I highly doubt I'll ever use it like that, and I hope I don't.

Anyways, for the original poster, I'm glad you're okay, it looks like you came away from this with a good attitude and having learned from it. You sound like a smart guy.

Dude I would have been so pissed if he dented my door, I could have handled it until then. If he had opened my door to block me then I would have grabbed my Glock 19c and made his *** back the **** off! After that prolly would have grabbed the old maglight and proceeded to really beat him down, family there or not, it takes a lot to **** me off but when I'm mad I tend to get a little outta control.
