Any pictures of it? I've never seen a semi auto colt 45. Seems like such a long bullet would jam easily during rapid fire.

Sorry for the off topic, I'm a gun nut

Let me be clear...

Colt 1911A1

Been issued to military troops since the Phillippine uprisings clear through Vietnam. Was replaced by Beretta 92F's (I believe) in the '80's.

This link:

http://www.springfieldarmory.com

has many many versions to see. Springfield Armory, Kimber and others all build versions of the venerable .45 Colt Auto. I personally own a Springfield Armory TRP-Pro, a Korean War vintage 1911-A1 Colt, a Ruger KGP-141 .357 and a Ruger Bull Barrel .22 Target. We won't even go into the long rifles I own...lol

Oh, the 45 ACP shell. I thought you meant a Colt 45 shell as in the longer ones. I sold my old military 1911 and got a H&K tactical.

I had a Ruger 22 bull barrel too. That was the most difficult gun to put back together. Especially the piece in the handle with the pin that goes up through the slide...

Yeah, you should have apologized for cutting him off in the first place but when it escalates to the point of him damaging your car you gotta call the cops and get them there. I would have run from him first off until I got away but if he had hit my car with anything I would have got out and kicked his ***.

Dildorado I think you need to do the whole Wooosah thing a little more often

Woooooosah

Anyway, us Europeans don't have the same level of RoadRage as you guys but we still have it. I am a Brit by birth and have spent years driving around the world (you think the US is bad, try the Middle East). I do think that some of you e-macho guys really need to calm down before you're put down. Remember that it's one life and that you're a long time dead. Once it's over there isn't any chance of coming back.
Stop being so damned aggressive especially if it's your cockup in the first place. Accept that you made a mistake, apologise and get on with your life.

Yeah right, I didn't go around kicking their ride and trying to beat them up, I just kept pissing them off.

Man, nothing pisses me off more than to be driving along, eating my BK Whopper, talking to my stock broker on my cell phone and watching the editors uncut version of ET on my portable DVD player, just to have some upset trailer trash, road raging sister humping hillbilly coming after me because I accidentaly cut him off. Now!, to make matters worse, I discover pickles on my Whooper! Man wtf? What ever happened to have it your way? I hate pickles. So my version of road rage is to roll down my window and start flicking my pickles at the fricken angry Hilbilly's windsheild. That will fix his totaly out of line ars! The nerve of some people.!

I must admit I would probably fall under the rabid road rage driver. As long as it looked and was truthfully an accident would I not get fired up or even if it was deliberate but prepared cut off with his signal with an immediate sorry without me braking I won't mind. Otherwise if it doesnt fall under those situations I turn into an uncontrollable rage of fire. Though I'm not insinuating I sponsor this type of action I cannot stand hypocrisy where I try to be the aware driver and I dont get back the same. People on their cell phones who cannot handle the multitask. driving on the fastest lane but going under the speed limit not realizing that unnecessary traffic is being created is an instant flame for me. I'm a strong advocate for a manditory driving school teaching basic and advance techniques in driving and higher license fees for a breed of more selective and responsible beginning drivers that is imprinted into them for the rest of their lives and last not but least a manditory reevaluation for elders at a certain age for those who want to continue driving. I wish for these guidelines but most will likely never come true. Cars can kill people.

A Springfield Armory Mil-Spec that's been altered a bit with a lighter trigger and different grip panels among other things.
