Default Geico Extended Warrenty

Anyone have any comments on extended warrenties through your insurance company vs. dealer warrenties?

The insurance company one seems solid.. its only $80/year, with $250 dedicutible.. covers EVERYTHING except normal wear/service parts (like tires, pads, oil, alignment).. don't pay up front (so don't pay for what you don't use).. and not limited to dealer for service.

Any comments/experiences? For only $80/yr I don't think its a bad deal! I think it can continoually be extended as long as its been covered all along.

I guess the thing I didn't ask yet is how the rate may vary with age..

comments?

Geico tried to sell me on this as well. It really does seem like a pretty good deal, if your the type who just has to have an extended waranty. It's kind of redundant to get it from the start, since the car is covered by Nissan, just remember to add it before the 11 month limitation is up.
