The guy is no marketing genius, that's for sure! Don't think I am going to pay 36k for a used Z w/4k miles on it and he pictures it doing donuts and lighting up the tires in the parking lot

He is a member here. Here is a thread from a couple months back where he was going to sell the car. I guess he ended up need to sell the car anyway.

The coffee mug and hot wheels aren't for sale at those prices, he is "including" them in with the sale of the car. He is just putting in bogus prices to apparently justify the high price of the car.

 

A note to ebay would probably shut down that auction.

Oh- and I know you have to have some- well maybe not- common sense to know a typo when you see it. Oh and if I want to use your photos, I will until you place a disclaimer on them.

You made a probably innocent mistake in using the pictures without at least attributing their source. Even better would have been a p.m. to the photographer asking permission. 9/10ths sure they would have given it to you and maybe with an agreement that you cite them as the photog. But flat taking them was not cool.

Then you made it worse by not apologizing for the error. That made it look like you took the pics while knowing that you shouldn't.

This is a friendly forum and you might think about mending this fence. Asking for a fistfight is enough to get you carded or off. You're probably a decent guy, so think about how you would react if somebody had used your pics to sell their car without your approval. Maybe you can think of another way to straighten this out?
