Doh-
Yes, apologies to those who I didn't get "permission" from in order to borrow the pics to help me represent the car that I'm selling...
I was just always taught to use all your resources, and since I didn't see any policies against reposting images presented on this sight, I decided to use a few good ones.
Oh yeah, and I haven't abused my Z by doing donuts!!! That was another DB Track that just so happens to use this forum and doesn't mind subjecting their Z to that kind of driving. Personally, I would do it in a 1984 Grand Prix or something, but to each their own...
For those who want to poke comments or make fun- laugh- yeah bring it! I've never been one to back down from a war of words, but that can only go so far- most people have better things to do with their time than get off by jumping on a comment bandwagon to try and make themselves look better...
I hope none of you have to sell your Z, but if you do, perhaps some pictures posted on this sight will help you as well. But FYI, ask the user beforehand, as I have found out that people are offended??? of having a photo they took of their car being shown in other places. I personally would feel good knowing that somebody else liked my pics enough to use them. Just my 2 cents...

It's really a VERY simple issue. Ask for permission first. No doubt it would have been given. Now that it is too late for that, make peace with those you have "offended". Saying that you want to "meet" with people to "discuss" it (i.e. fistfight over it), and calling me names and saying that I'd run and hide from you, really aren't scoring you any points here.

Really!!
Man, can't you people lighten up a little??? It's an honest mistake with absolutely no harm intended. So what??? Now everyone wants some kind of apology. What are we now, judge and jury??? I bet everyone here has used a pic of some kind they found on the internet for something. Hell, before we got our cars there were postings of every Z sighted. Did those people get permission?? This whole thing was started when one member read a little too much into having his pictures "used" by someone.
Damn, some of you people are ****.

Jewelz350 here. Does this mean my 15 minutes of fame are up? LOL
I guess my only comment would actually be to JimH and Loaded_Pistol. Since when is doing a donut abusing a car??? How did you find out the limit/potential of your car? If I were slamming gears, dumping the clutch, or running at redline constantly that could constitue abuse, but a donut??? Only abuse was to the tires which we all know aren't the best anyway.
To each his own. Better go...I think I have about a minute of fame left...

schindem - i read on one thread where you are in the AF. I'm an AF retiree who's served 26 years. I advise you to PLEASE tone down the language. I don't want to start citing UCMJ articles you may be violating.

And Joyia--I'm with you. A donut is just good clean fun, especially when the tires are gonna need replacing after 12k miles anyway.
I personally wouldn't mind anyone using my pics (if I had any!) just to show what the car looks like. It would be nice to be asked if it was okay, but not totally necessary. Now I would be pissed if someone took a pic of my face and put it on some naked body all over the internet, but that's a totally separate issue.
I want to know who HONESTLY hasn't used a pic of the web?!?!?! I'm not trying to **** anyone off here, just pointing out that we've all done it.

Taking the picture isn't the problem. Taking it (without permission) and using it for one's own financial gain (for a sale) isn't allowed.
For those of you saying to stop being so **** and to lighten up, I'm not the one who is threatening to beat people up. I would think that those comments are the ones that need "lightening up".

I don't see a problem with borrowing pics, unless your a professional photographer using your pics for profit. I would feel good that someone used my pics, which they have in the past. I too have borrowed pics from others without asking, I really see no problem with borrowing pics IMHO. As far as the comments made, he was being attacked on the first comment so he fired back. This thread should have never been started IMHO.

OK, forget about the "borrowed" pics issue, but schindem, what we're all dying to know, is: what's with the $500 coffee mug? Did you get it gold-plated and diamond-encrusted?
