We have our So Cal canyon runs here and I got pinched on a straight after some curves. I was taged at 65 on a 40 with lazer by a moto patrol. I since have slowed down on the straights although it is tempting...

Awesome video! Are those two guys members from this board? Ditto on the cop question.

Looks like they had some great suspension work done to be going that fast (or at least it looked pretty fast).

Yeah great suspension work.. the car was going right left right left and didn't look like it lost a bit of grip.

It looks like they were planning on getting pulled over towards the end there, unless the cops are their friends or something...

Awesome ... I just got to see two pretty ordinary drivers put the lives of all oncoming traffic in danger. Sweet!!

A lot of mid corner braking and poor use of throttle. And I didn't hear any rev-matching (did the camera have a 5AT?? -- sounded like it). Those guys could have caught a spot of oil, loose dirt, anti-freeze, etc. and easily lost it. The late mid-corner braking could have brought the tail around just by itself.

All in all -- take it to the track. Once you do that -- these sorts of runs lose their appeal.

I know of a guy that went over a cliff and burned to death doing this kind of stuff. It's very sad.

Sorry to climb the soapbox -- but someone needs to bring in a dose of reality.

It is not unusual to see car manfacturers up there with prototype cars. Its definitely a scream. Dangerous as helll though.

The video was from ZDayz 2004. LightningGuy and I were talking to the officer on the side of the road. We actually waved the officer down, as he was headed towards the camera car.
