States requiring front plates, what do you do?
In TX, on my older maxima I never ran a front license plate. In eight years, I got one ticket and paid it. With the Z, I don't run a front license plate either. I don't mind getting front license plate tickets every once in a while and paying them. They are $95 a ticket. It's not a moving violation so it doesn't matter...
i live in North Cali, i assume this Z bracket is the black ugly thing that was in my glove comparment.
I am gonna risk not useing it, if i get pulled over i am going to say i had no idea i assumed since there was no front bracket on my front i didtn even need it, i never put much thought into it, im very sorry. Im not to technical i just slapped the one into the back and thought i was good to go.
That and my friend rides around in his big *** truck with a superman logo on the front of his plate, that draws big attention its almost like haveing a flag there and he seems fine, i have no bracket at all doesnt even look like hteres a place to install it.
actualy does this black bracket fit onto the grill it self? if so,t hats nto so bad, i really dont want to put it on my bumper part.

ha! so last night I got pulled for no front plate. I told the cop that I just had my front bumper freshly painted and that it was too soon to install the mounting bracket. I smiled and giggled a lot too. I got a warning. Sometimes it pays to play the silly, ditsy girl role.
