Exclamation Keyless Remotes losing Programming !!! WTF?

So i've got a strange question. My keys were recently reprogrammed by the dealer; however, when i come back to my car after work, or once its been sitting for a few hours, my keyless remote doesn't unlock my doors. I have to put my key in the door and unlock my car first, then the remote starts working.

Has anyone every experienced this?? Noone at the dealership has an explanation for me, so i thought i'd ask around here.

Good news is that i'm gettin 2 new front tires, the window grease fixed, an alignment (of course), both axles replaced (due to the clicking), and a brand new tranny because my 3rd gear synchro needs replacement. Not bad since its all gettin done for free. I have 17,000mi on my Z, should i replace the clutch while the tranny is out?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

umm u might want to do a search for programming on the remote. try reprogramming it. if all else fail, buy a new remote from EBAY which cost like 30 bucks compare to dealership $250. the remote from ebay will have programming along with the remote

i'd actually have to pay for the clutch, but i think it'd be worth it since i wouldn't have to pay them labor since the tranny is out
