I guess it depends on the dealership you go to. My dealer has a nice waiting area complete with 2 couches, plasma TV, coffee machine, free donuts/bagels, etc.

My dealership's waiting room looks like it is from the 1980's.

Dead plants, VCR with old color TV....Sheesh must be tough since they pay the service guys soo much to fix Nissan's.

I thought they only gave you a loaner if the work is going to be extensive. How can you justify a 20min oil change?

my local dealer has some ratty couches but free coffee. My old audi dealer had a coffee kiosk serving all kinds of flavored coffees, espresso, and even iced coffee and tea drinks.

My nissan dealer's waiting room is very dirty too, popcorn everywhere, old style couches, loud TV, little kids running back and forth. Infiniti, on the other hand was quiet and CLEAN.

Same here. Dirty, crowded, and disgusting. I hate it. I'd rather wait outside in the hot Florida weather.

Was this a dealer in Jersey? If so, which one?

One of the dealership here locally has a nice selection of vehicles decent showroom, so-so waiting room, good parts department, but the bathrooms look like your average welcome area when you cross a state line. It is a bio hazard to say the least...I don't think there is a janitor and all the sales people think they are too good to clean commodes....imagine that

Sometimes I think dealerships are like Z's, look good outside, but one you step inside..............(interior thing is subjective).

Mine's got 802.11 wireless networking so you can bring your laptop and get some work done ... or surf to here!

My dealership was only a year old so they were a bit more attentive and willing to deal a (tiny!) bit on the 35th Anniversary model. The place looks alright except for the people like me hanging out.

It's Nissan... What do you expect. We have the top car of the line up.. But if you compare the rest of the cars.. You can understand why. I've only had bad experiences with Nissan dealerships, and it's unfortunate that we had to buy Z's from Nissan dealerships. I wish they would sell the Z under a separate branch of Infiniti dealerships because those are at least decent. Try a Lexus, BMW, or Benz dealership. What a world of a difference, even if all you own is a 3-series or C-class.

^What he said

It's not suppose to be a luxury brand, you didn't pay for a luxury price so why do you expect it.

if ya think nissan dealerships are crap, go to toyota or kia dealerships..

we were lookin for a van so we checked out a sienna last year, there was a huge sale soo we went.. didnt even look like a dealership, it was a lot full of toyotas and the place where ya do the paper work was just one huge tent.. LOL

we ended up with a honda oddyssey instead..
