HORRIBLE customer service at Gerald Nissan of Naperville, IL
Heres my story in a nutshell. I have an 03 350z and it makes a loud *** noise when it idles so i thought it was the bearing... I had them check it out they said its the transmission. Well as you all know, a very good amount of people have had their trannys replaced. They said, wow this is the first one we have ever seen needing a tranny replaced... I said alright, thats BS. They started off by telling me that the part was backordered. So i waited, waited and waited. two weeks roll by and I'm like wheres my tranny? Turns out they have not even ordered the part yet!!! So they order the part... and then tell me I should replace the clutch too. MY car has 14,000 miles on it! I said hell no i'm not replacing the clutch. I realize its wear and tear but thats an unacceptable product at 14,000 miles. So then they proceed to tell me i won't get a rental car because they don't give out cars off warranty work even though my car will be there for 2+ days. GERALD NISSAN OF NAPERVILLE HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NISSAN OWNERS IN THIS AREA I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TAKING YOUR CAR THERE FOR SERVICE. I won't do business with them ever again, i have taken my business to St. Charles.

I bought my car from Gerald, however I go to Woodfield for service, Gerald wanted me to wait 4 days to get an oil change thru the express service area, F-That. I havent had any warranty issues yet but when I do off to woodfield my car goes!

I agree, Gerald Nissan is a PoS dealership.
I took the Z to Mid-City for a tranny replacement and they seemed to do a decent job. For reference, it took about 2 weeks to get the transmission in stock and 1 day to install. But, your symptoms don't match what was wrong with mine.

Bought mine from MidCity Nissan. Good customer service but not the greatest. Now when it comes to excellent customer service, Lexus comes to mind. Free carwash, small putting green, and hot sales chicks!!!

I prefer Star Nissan of Niles because u can actually see ur car while they do oil change, but since I moved to Schaumburg I been going to Woodfield Nissan for my last 2 oil change. Even tho I couldnt see my car but they do have good looking receptionists working there.

It seems like a number of people are dissatisfied with gerald dealers. I know they have an horrible customer service dept. I have no idea about sales.I tried to express my complaints to the general manager today but he apparently went on vacation today....
