I'd set the thing on fire with a blowtorch before I let that happen. I had a good friend who I used to work with who was in his fifties. He and his wife split up and while he was gone for the weekend she sold his entire record collection. You have to understand what a jazz head this guy was. His collection was SIIICKK. Tons of rare original 45's, many of them impossible to find. I remember a personal photograph he had of Dexter Gordon that was signed to him. The ***** sold the entire collection for $100 so she could make extra "room".

To bad they were not going thru a divorce and not just seperated. Because then she would have to pay him 1/2 of what the actual value of the records were and not what she got for them.

I would just drive the **** out of my Z then give it up. Hopefully, the clutch is gone, tires, brakes, rotors, engine and everything else is in such a shape that the lawyers/former spouse gets nothing out of it.

I once heard about a guy who basically had to split everything down the middle with his wife, instead of giving up half, he sold his Porsche for $10.00 so she couldn't profit off of him. He basically gave up the half of his ownings at less then garage sell prices.

Never let a woman use you up like that, especially one that would backstab you like that.

I'd sign the Z over to a family member if I knew that was going to happen...

I've heard of a story that a guy took a chain saw to everything he owned. Literally split everything in half. Wife came home and he told her to take half of everything! LOL
