Judging from how the headlights look "fish eyed", it looks like a 2006 model. I say this because there was some pictures posted up earlier of a 06 ZR with similar headlights & sidemarkers (this one seems a bit more aggressive). Only difference I see is the grill & the front lip which had a dip in the middle.

I don't think its the 2006.

I took the first picture from Google way back, on a review from a Dubai magazine.

But when I saw the pop-up from the Magazine, thought I would ask here.

hmm now that isn't all that bad IMO - looks kinda i dunno vampire-like, more japanese/agressive IMO - the stock normal bumper does look rather plain to me - and I like it, but so many of the aftermarket bumpers don't fit the car's curves IMHO

the headlights don't look like the 2006 lights to me

Hmm? No clue. Maybe it's just a custom bumper someone made but the headlights does look like the one shown on the 06 ZR.

That's the JDM Nismo Bumper. They sell replicas of these as well.

Actually, GTNPU Z, it's made by Kuruma but it is a close copy of the NISMO JDM front. I tried and tried to get one of the NISMO ones to no avail. Apparently there is a bit of a dispute between Nissan/NISMO and some suppliers.

The Kuruma unit is urethane which appeals greatly to me. They are just finishing up their prototyping and fit tests. They have promised to advise me when they are available, which should be soon. As soon as they are available, I'm gettin' one.

In the meantime, the car goes in the shop next week for PhaZe 1 of my buildup. This includes:

NISMO Grounding Kit
STILLEN Exhaust with dual wall tips
STILLEN Cold Air Intake
Stillen Stage II Supercharger w/intercooler and ECM flash
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
ATC Clutch & Flywheel
Stillen Strut Tower Bar

Stillen Carbon Fiber Hood

PhaZe 2 will follow and is mostly body work:

Stillen Type 1 Rear Spoiler
Stillen Series 2 Rocker Kit
Stillen Series 1 Rear Valance
KurumaZ Front Fascia
Clear Corners Front Fascia Clear Corners
Clear Corners Rear Tail Light LED Conversion
Clear Corners Rear Signal Light LED Conversion

The Clear Corners are on a core exchange but he's out of cores for the next 4 to 6 weeks. I won't start any body work until the lights and front fascia are in my hands. <G>

That looks like the Z Concept car in that Nissan Z History book.

Actually, the pic you posted is of a replica JDM Nismo bumper (not the urethane one being sold by Gruppe-S). The reason I know this is that the Z in your pic is a friend's car. He's had that front bumper on for some time.

It is the test mule and in the article they say that it is a preproduction front bumper and that it will be changed by final production model.
