Electronic throttle and the brake system
I read in SCC back when they had their first taste of the Z that they lost engine power when the brake pedal was applied. They had to remove the brake light fuse, I think, to trick the computer and retain throttle under braking.
I was thinking that loss of power under braking would really suck if you wanted to double-clutch and rev-match in a turn that required some heel-toe or left foot braking. Has anyone tried this? I don't have my car yet, so I can't see if the engine bogs when applying the brakes. I'm really curious to see if the production Zs are doing this as well.
Thanks, folks...
