Default Need Help Finding Car

So I have talked to about 20 dealers on the West coast (wa - ca) and cannot find a PPW or LS base model Z. All of them have told me that the 05 models are no longer in production and I would have to wait for the 06 model to special order one. The only bad part to this is that I do not like the changes they are making to the 06 model. I need you guys' help in finding this car, anyone seen one of these at their local dealers?

im sure you alraedy tryed this but if you didnt ill suggest it any ways the nissan site lets you select dealers and view there inventorys thats how i found my PPW enthiuast AT 05 brand new.

may i suggest trying to buy a enthiuast model and haveing the dealer lower it to the base model price?

example my msrp was 30,230. dealer lowered it to 26450. Near base price i think.

I took my car in for service on Saturday and they had 2 PPW's on the lot. Not certain of the trim level though.

Fairfield Nissan.

EDIT: The website now shows 1 PPW and it's a touring.

Vacaville has a PPW Touring as well and Concord Nissan has 2 PPW's 1 enth, 1 Touring.

Petaluma has an LS Touring. and a PPW
Oakland has a PPW enth.
Berkeley has a PPW Touring

JACKPOT!! Roseville has a PPW base on the lot listed for 27,740.00 so you can probably get them under 25k!

I was just feelin your pain. The dealers in my area said the same thing to me when I was looking for my BY.

I'm in contact with roseville right now on the base PPW. He is in the process of checking for it in stock.

On a side note, try your absolute hardest to avoid fairfield nissan. They are such dicks there. I went in with my family and they said they lost my parents' $500 electronic key just so we had to sit there longer and "bargain with them." Another time when i was pricing out the Z they said the lost my registry to get me to stay longer. AND they tried to scam me to pay 50k for a base model Z!!!!

Yep. They're awful. I take my car their for service only because the Master Mechanic has been taking care of my Z's for nearly 20 years. An I also know the Parts manager very well and get pretty good pricing for stuff.

Both their sales and service departments suck. They are use to seeing me there and know I won't take any crap. I am seriously thinking of trying Vacaville or Napa though.

I just dont like the head lights and tail lights, at least from what i have seen. I could have special ordered an 05 up until July 1st, but its either wait 3 months for my 05, or get the same one i want now but drive 2.5 hours away....i choose to have fun this summer

what's so bad about a 2.5 hour drive? Better than across the country.

Just remember to stay under 4000rpm for the first 1200 miles. To bad it's not a prettier drive from Roseville though. If you want a fun drive over back roads (very windy roads) to Napa on your way back let me know.

Enjoy!

Take 128 out of Davis to 121 into Napa. Great run.

I will probably just hit 5 across to 113 down to 80. Usually pretty open and no traffic.

Bixby,

I used to make that run on my motorcycles; great road; not much traffic; lots of curves.
