You need one of those fake blow off valve in your exhaust deals and an AEM liscence plate frame. That ought to scare him off and you wont have to race. Then you get the cash, and the respect!!

You need about $60,000 plus or minus a few thousand. Look at the new SLK 55 AMG.
You can spend tons of money modding our Z's, but you end up with a very low value Z, and no warranty. Just upgrade to a better car if you want to go faster. The M3 is one of the best deals out there for performance and luxury. I think that it blows the G35coupe out of the water in what you get for your money. Instead of a mediocre quality "luxury" coupe, you get a high quality interior, with a really high performance platform. All for around $55k - 60k. Not many other sport luxury coupes are out there for so cheap. The Carrera will run you at least $80k I believe.
That says it all.

Well, you can't beat the pimp factor of an m3 no matter how much hp you have sitting under the hood.

thanks but its not my goal to beat an m3 and i bought the 350z cus of the looks and the way the car is but i was just wondering if i was able to take an m3 with cheap mods bcus on paper the 2 cars are not too far apart in acceleration wise and i'll only probaly be spending money on the intake, exhaust and volk racing sf challenge rims for my 350zr i think that would make my car a lil faster and looks a lil nicer

I think you will definitely be able to hang with a Mustang GT, but the M3 is a little outta the range unless you spend serious cash. If you want a really fast car for not as much money buy an R32 or R33 skyline and mod the **** out of it. That's what I'm gonna do when I hit the lottery or get a job where I make more money, .

YOu guys are trippin M3's are quick but not that fast. All it takes is a good driver and minor mods. I had Intake, Headers and exhaust, I traded a couple of runs between an M3. On the freeway I had one pull almost 1 car length from 70-130. So either M3 drivers suck or its a lot closer than some think. Now if you get a good driver vs good driver, obviously the car with more power or better power curve will win.
