First of all find a friend who works for insurance agency. There are many tips/tricks he can do for you in order to reduce the insurance cost. There are many discounts he can use!!

If he likes you he will "code" you in an appropriate way

If you are comparing insurange to an RSX-S. I'm 21 years old, on my own insurance, one ticket (cleared), one accident (cleared). I pay 113 a month with statefarm. The RSX-S was 20 bucks a month more for me compared to the Z.

I just talked to my dad on the phone about what Allstate quoted me for insurance on an 03 350Z Touring and they said $2,250 every 6 months that is $375 every month! I know I am only 18 but is there any companies or suggestions I can do to cut this in half!? Thanks in advanced.

Even for your age, that seems a bit high I would think. Do you have tickets or
accidents? What is your driving record like? I also have Allstate and we get the
multiple vehicle discount.

BTW.... 30/married and $109 per month.

I have a perfect driving record. No acidents and no tickets of any kind. My dad said the car would be under my policy because if I screw up he doesn't want the family insurance going up. Any sites I can go to where I can get some quotes or do I have to fill out personal information and talk to someone? I really would like to cut the $375 a month quoted by Allstate down to ~$250ish.

esurance has some good rates for first time buyers. Raising your deductable will lower the monthly payments also, but sucks if you get in an accident. If your buying brand new, ask the dealer about "Gap" insurance. It will cover the deductable for you for 10 bucks a month.

I think progressive is supposed to have a site where you can get quotes from
different carriers at once. Never tried it, but it might be a good place to start.

Okay i'm 20, My family is with Triple A. I had a scion tC for 2 months and i totalled te car. It's been about 7 months. We have 3 cars, and it's a family policy, all 4 of us are under all 3 cars, and it's 4,000 a year. Now, how much will it cost for insurance on a 05 enthusiast AT Z, do you think it will be 2000 a year? So will that make 6,000 a year? I doubt that. I pay 150 a month right now and i'm under all 3 cars. Does anyone have any idea on what i would be paying if the Z was under the family policy, do you think it would go to 200 a month for me?

I'm 19 under my own policy...$500 deductible and I pay $189.00 month with a good driving record. I recommend just calling around and getting quotes.
