Car Cover Questions

I purchased a cover for my Z at PEP-Boys. It is nice and soft, but it is not waterproof. On the box it came in it claims that one of its features is that it allows air flow or that it breathes.

I kinda wish it was waterproof. Is this a trade off ?

I definately do not want a car cover that might put scratches or swirls in my paint.

What do you recommend?

take it back and buy the one from the dealer.

No car cover should be waterproof. If they were, they trap the moisture under them and the car would rust.

Some covers are slightly water repellent such as the Nissan OEM one, but none will keep you car completely dry in rain.
