Default How many have clear bras?

I just wanted peoples opinions on clear bras. What color Z you have with your bra. Any bad experiences with them? Are they worth 600 bucks? Please let me know!!

After 1 week of owning my car, i got 2 rock chips. I then got the clear bra. It has been 2 months now and no chips since. Great investment IMO. Peace of mind too.

$600 for bumper, 1/3 of hood/fender , side mirrors on daytona blue

Get it, you won't regret it.

I have one, paid 600 for it.

No chips on the bra, but I do have one on the top part of the hood, two on the roof, and one on the side of the car. Looks like I have been to Baja.

So... I dont know if the clearbra is worth it, since I ended up with chips anyhow.

I honestly think the chips were caused by bugs... the paint is like watercolor.

Have it on both the G and the Z. On the Z it was installed on the bumper, hood, headlights, side mirrors and door sill. On the G it was installed on the bumper and hood. The Z is chrome silver and only under angles and certain light conditions can one tell it's on there. The G is black and it is easily noticable.

Based on the amount of stuff that I have to wash off, I'd say it is worth it especially on the Z with its big-a$$ bumper.

Default Clearbra

I only wish I'd put it on sooner. My car already had 1,800 miles and three rock chips on it when I picked it up. I covered the nose, a portion of the hood and fenders, door sills, windshield pillars, windshield header, back of the mirrors, and headlights. I should have just shrink-wrapped the whole car! Cut the best deal you can-prices vary widely. Most importantly, don't try to install it yourself.
Check my avatar and tell me if you think it cut the shine?

Why is it that I have never had to clearbra another car, but I did with this one, and I still get chips?

What did Nissan do to their paint?

But (knock on wood) even my wifes Murano has better paint...

Now I have 2 choices

get the bra, and no more rock chips. But the front wont shine as much.

or dont get the bra, the car will shine perfectly. But it will suck when I get a ton of rock chips on the highway.

The bra wont really ruin your shine, especially from viewing past 6 feet. Like I said its not perfect, but its nice.

You can wax it too, at least my 3M one you can.

My complaint is just that it doesnt cover the whole dang car..

I wouldn't worry about the shine. Its remains the same on my car.

See, I just figure I'll wait a couple years and once the chips get bad I'll just get a really good paint job that is more the color I want (I have silverstone which looks good but really wanted Black!).
