As i was leaving work the other day, i walked over to my car and saw some guy in the distance walking more or less in my direction. started the car then got out to retrieve my cell phone from my pocket and as i glanced up the guy was closer and looking in my direction. got in my car and the guy was still staring at me or my car. he then approached me, handed me a business card and before i got a chance to look at it he sayed "gimme a call if you decide to trade in your toy". i looked at the card and it was a honda dealership card. i smiled, looked up at him and politely said "no thanks". to be honest, i am a very down to earth person and as much as i love my car i don't think it is the greatest thing man has ever created but i felt deeply insulted. as i looked at the card i thought to myself, what does honda have that would possibly make me trade in my Z??? Nothing! so as i left i let him know as well........

You should go to that dealership and act very interested in a Honda. Get them all set to deal, then ask to speak to someone in charge. When he shows up, inform them of what that guy said to you, then tell them you're going to <competing dealership> because of it.

wow, i wouldve laughed at his face. as big of a honda enthuasiast as i am, that is pretty degrading. i wouldve just tore up the card and gave it back to him and left.

I go to the Honda Dealership from time to time because of my friend. He has a Honda Element and drops his Element off for maintenance work. I remember as soon as I parked and walked back to the service department to retrieve my friend, I came back out and there were 2 sales people looking over my car pretty hard. They didn't ask me if I was interested in a Honda, but they were asking me about the numbers on the Z.
