Default Keeping off dust - suggestions?

Well.. heres the problem.
I tend to do a zaino job once every couple months. The car is then stored in the garage for anwyhere between 1-3 days (depending on whens the next time I drive in). Usually when I come back to my Z, expecting a beautiful zaino finish... im left with pure dust on her.
Other than a car cover thats gona cost me $200+ ... any ideas?

Get a micro fiber towel and dust off the Z as you please. It'll be good as new.

Get a car duster. If you dust off your car and wipe over water spots every day, you won't have to wash your car for a while. That's what I do and it works like a charm.

Yup, California Car duster does wonders, though I went ahead and got the $200 car cover so I wouldn't have to bother.

I have a Super Black Z which has got to be the worse in regards to showing dust. After using the California Duster for a period of time, I became convinced that it DOES PUT TINY SCRATCHES INTO THE PAINT. Would you continuously wipe your car with a dirty rag?

It sounds like your garage is a dusty environment. You should figure out how you might reduce the dust....perhaps some type of air filter. Other than that, you might try an old bed spread.....but don't slide it over your car finish....fold it and unfold it on your car.

An air microfiltration system in your garage ought to do the trick...

A California Duster, Nissan 350Z factory car cover and a Cover-It portable garage does it for me. Been using the Cali Duster and Cover-it garage for years with no problems or complaints.

make sure your dryer vent is sealed and paint the walls and floor of the garage to prevent the cement dust from blowing around. Make sure the seals on the garage door are sealing off wind and don't leave the car in the garage with the engine running since the exhaust will stir up the dust

My experience has been that carnuba wax is better at repelling dust than the polymer based waxes/polishes on my car. Now, I've never tried Zaino, but this guy found the same when he did a test on his SUV:

I've heard of people mixing a carnuba wax with Zaino to give their car more of the "wet look." Possibly that mixture could help it repel dust too? It would make for an interesting experiment.

I have an air compressor. I just hook up the blower gun and blast it.

Have you used the new Zaino Z-8? I've noticed that it doesn't collect dust nearly as much as if I just used Z-6.
