I've seen someone who got them powdercoated. They looked pretty nice.

Regarding the photochop, the stock 18's would look retarded in real life if they had been painted in the center, leaving a fake silver lip. Since they're monoblock rims, they don't have a machined lip...it would just look wrong.

But getting them powdercoated might look unique, as long as you do the entire rim (not leaving a fake lip).

You can always ask your Nissan dealer to powdercoat it for you.

Some dealers have these in the parts department in chrome and black chrome. I think it would look better if only the spokes and the center were done and the lip-like sections left silver, it would give them more depth and look cool at a a slow roll.

Just dont wash the rims for a few weeks. On stock brake pads, the rims will look exactly like that.

Those would not appeal to customers in general. I've seen a few powder coated ones though and they looked pretty nice.
