On Sunday I was exiting a mall parking lot, I was going through the toll both and this chick straight out of a rap video was collecting the toll. I minding my own biz and she says, "WHO TOLD YOU, YOU COULD TAKE MY CAR!" Im like excuse me? She than says "I love your G35 coupe!" Im was like ummmm this is not a G35 Coupe, its a Z. She was like what? I never heard of a Z, instead of breaking it down to her I was just like yeah thanks anyways. She than tells me,"So when are you going to take me for a ride?" mind you this chick looked like she was straight out of a rap video, in a bad way. I just smiled and drove away. This is the second time a chick thinks my Z is a G35Coupe. The other one was a hottie this one was a straight up ghetto hoochie, anyone else get their Z confused for a G?

 

LOL @ Ghetto hoochie mama....Most of these type of "females" don't know what the car is unless it's riding on 20 inch spinners ( or "dubs" as people down South call 'em).

Most hoochie mama's just say "nice ride" cuz they have NO clue what it is....LOL

This girl on my job was like "What kinda car is that?" I said it's a Z. She said,"why didn't you get the new Galant". I just shook my head and walked away.

 

Hahaha. That's some funny ****. I get a lot of looks but the funniest was one guy who said "How can a kid as young as you afford a brand new porsche like that?" I said, "My parents taught me to work really hard for what I want." And he said "Man you are a lucky bastard!" I said thanks, .

haha, it may seem crazy to us but the majority of the population have no clue about cars. To most people it's just a thing that takes them from point a to point b. Sometimes when you ask them what car they drive they can't even tell you, they just say something like "a small white japanese car"

Beleive it or not, people mistake my Z for a G sometimes. I don't know how, to me the G looks sleeker, the Z looks more sporty. I park next to a Z at work everyday, one girl that works in my building thought the Z was a Tiburoun!!! WTF??? WTF 2 times!!!!!! ::double take:: WTF!?!??

 

My car could never be mistaken for a G35coupe. The Lemans Sunset is just too distictive to be mistaken for a G35coupe. Plus, the girls in my city seem to be really into cars. They know what they are talking about. Even little kids at age 12 know to call it the 350Z. Some guy approached me once and asked "Is that the car? Is that the car that was on TV?" I had no idea what he was talking about, but I just answered "Yeah".

I do get compliements like "Good job" or "Nice work" like I built the car myself or something. lol

a few chicks told me my roadster looks like a Audi TT....another once told me they didnt know new celicas came in a convertible...pretty disturbing but whatevers.

Older people think my car is some kind of suped up Porsche or they don't know what it is and usually tell me they thought it costs at least 50K People around my age (28) and younger usually know what's up. Little kids(7 and younger) surprise the hell out of me. The know exactly what it is or tell their parents it's the car from Need for Speed, etc. Now it's a damn shame when them little, little kids play videogames that much when they can be learning how to read or talk better

 

The one I like is some kid coming up to you and your Z saying, "Did you get the turbo?" I says, "No, they don't make a turbo 350Z." To which he replies, "Yeah, they do! They make a twin turbo and it's soooo sweet!". I reply saying, "You must be confusing the Z32TT, last made in 1996, with the current Z33". "Were you even alive in 1996, tweaker?" and at that time he looks all confused, starts counting on his fingers and walks off, mumbling "Yah, I know they made a twin turbo Z...I just KNOW it!"

So don't be so surprised if some "Hoochie" gets it wrong.
