I'm interested in this question also. I've seen the Lucas displays w/ the hand-turned cranks that seem to demonstrate increased viscosity. I'm principally interested in whether there is ANY gain by adding this product to the pumpkin??

One of the things you have to remember about those hand crank things is, you cannot turn it as fast as an engine does. I saw a test where they spun a gear at the speed of an engine, and the oil with additives started to actually foam. Foam in oil is bad, it reduces viscosity and lubricating properties.

Oil or synthetic au-natural is the best solution - they spend millions making sure it is perfect.
