Just got off the phone with my sales guy and he said the car has been ordered and he's expecting it around the first on February. I know this has been done to death by now, but I'm still pretty excited about it. He's gonna email me my VIN # as soon as he gets it and then it's all downhill from there!

If you called him, make sure to get an order number. Some saleman will tell you anything to get you off their backs.

There is gonna be a lot of grumbling on here if that tub from Japan is late!! I'm expecting my Zzzzzzzzz on Feb 1 myself.

 

I gotta finish putting my down payment together, so I don't mind waiting till February--that way it'll be a birthday present to myself! I emailed him last week and he called me back today.

xjchoex--I had a few friends that went to Baylor. Still prefer A&M by far, but it's a nice little campus. You graduating any time soon?

He SAID he'd have to look up my order number and that he'd call me back, but I was too busy to make him look it up right then. He doesn't strike me as the type to flat out lie, but I can always call NNA, since I should be in their system by now. If not, then you better believe I'll be raising some serious hell.

I just know I'll have that dream again, where I'm in my car driving on a twisty road and haulin' ***!

September 30th. I was really starting to wonder.

 

How funny... that's what I was thinking when I ordered mine in September, and then it was delivered just 2 days before my bday.

I ordered mine 4 days ago (Dec 7) and yesterday (Dec 9) was my Bday.

My wife and I were supposed to go to dinner and a movie for my bday, instead we found out our dealer had 2 cars in and I could test drive one (plus my wife has never seen one in real life), we ended up ordering it.

I finally got lots of info how it works, and the dealer only puts in an official order every 3 weeks, I have 2 weeks before it gets ordered, but I am happy.

 

I just wanted to thank everyone for the wealth of knowledge I have gained on this board. If you can believe it, it was my sales guy that told me about it. lol It's been pretty cool, learning as much as I have about this sweet little ride I'm about to (finally) own.

Of course, once I get my car, I'm sure I'll have all sorts of new questions! lol.
