Cool '06 News

Hey guy's. Here's some info on the new Z (Canadian).
35th Anniversary is now Grand Touring Coupe. It will have staggered FORGED wheels 18 front 19 rear with 245/40 and 265/35 rubber. Yes it comes in auto.
300hp engine is now standard on all M6 models roadster included. Non Brembo cars get larger brakes. Engine speed sensitive steering changed to, vehicle speed sensitive steering for improved feel. Steering wheel audio controls are illuminated. Ultra Yellow is gone. New colours; Magnetic Black, Airstream, and Plum Brandy. Also, the new projectors are bi-xenon.

Komodo.

hmm so is that steering stuff an ECU thing or are there new sensors on the steering or physically different steering parts?

otherwise I don't care about any of the other changes. the 300hp enging would be nice, but not the hardcore emissions ECU

I'm not sure, I have'nt seen the tech manuals. I would guess that sensors would be involved, to monitor actual vehicle speed as opposed to engine speed.

Sometimes I wish I should have waited for few months before buying mine, but I dont think I could have waited that long. Oh well, love the Z in every way.

Airstream is a 2 stage metalic that is highly reflective. Also available on the Sentra and the Murano. I like that photo of your Roadster, I should put one up of mine.

Ha, ha, me too. And the new led tails look sick! 35th Anniversary 5 spoke is now the standard wheel for everything except Grand Touring Coupe. I wonder what 35th Anniversary owners will think about about this? The CD player also plays MP3's now.

No problem. I knew you guys would apreciate (think that's how you spell it) the info. Here's the thing though, I sell these for a dealer and the interest on the 2005's is very low. I could show you 1.8, 2.8, or 3.8 percent financing anywhere between 2 to 6 years until month end.

So even the base gets the 35th wheels? That would be cool....

Are the 35th wheels forged???

Funny Liu Man . I'm sure you guys in the States will still get the Yellow. You've always had more colours than us. We didn't get the Track model after '04 either .

Nope. 35th wheels are cast. Think I know of someone selling a new set with rubber.

HID low beam, and HID high beam from the same projector lens. It's HAWTNESS if you're into stuff like that. Especially since the curent set up uses a reflector and not true projector.

The new Acura TL as well as some BMW's and Mercedes all had them so you can check them out at night it you see them. They are a lot nice than reflector HID.

Guess that "Plum Brandy" is a replacement for the Brickyard color on the '03 Z ??
