I went in for an oil change today and they suggested that I have the front end aligned. Their position is that every car that came off the boat needs to have its front end aligned. With a spec for toe in of 0 to .1 degree, I can believe it

Nissan tried this new edge pattern out in the UK awhile ago sucessfully , that's why you are now getting it . It's the same pattern RE040 as on the RX8 . The outside edges , from the outside in , stop about 1/2 an inch fron the inside edge and it obviously works along with a proper alignment .

Look guys...just go to your local Nissan parts department. Ask for number of parts for the 03/04 on the front suspension. Arms, spindels, shocks, and even the springs. My dealer did not actually have the parts in stock for us to look at. I just know the numbers are different as of 8/04 which is the 05 model. That only the upper arm is innerchangeable according to Nissan. The the others may or may not be. I would like to see the parts side by side. I'm not a tech. Maybe there is a pro out there who is willing to take this on and evaluate the new parts.

Also understand that Nissan reguarly evaluates and changes parts on cars. They may still admit nothing here unless we can provide proof that the 2005 and now 2006 don't feather. So 2005 owners, we need to know about your tires!!! Please post your information.
