Default Finally found a Z to buy...Is it a Good Deal?

I have been searching for a while waiting for my car to sell, and it finally did...So I am now in the serious mode of buying a used 350z. I came across one at a reputable dealership, it is a 2003 Super Black Track Model with 16,xxx miles, curtain airbags, door sills, mint condition other than one door ding (which is going to be fixed before purchase). The dealership is asking $25k, which seems reasonable from what I have seen for a Track model. I am just curious to know if this is a good deal, which based on blue book values, it is. Thanks in advance.

Do your homework, lots of 03's were prone to tire feathering, tranny issues, ect.

For that price you can just about get a brand new 05 Enthusiast!

BTW it probably costs the dealer less than $25 to get the ding out.

a good deal if it is good shape, but see if you can get it out the door for that price and run with it, otherwise its just an ok deal if you ask me,

Miles are just OK. I'd be looking to hit around $23K max, though.

Im not agreeing with some of the people on here. I say go for it if it is in good shape. 16k miles on an 03 is pretty low. 25k for a track is a good deal if thats the color you want, then get it. You will not find an 05 enthusiast model for 25k $. More like 29k out the door. Plus you wont have the nice brembos and lightweight rays wheels on the enthusiast. If that Z has service records with it, Get it!! You will enjoy the looks you get and the fun ride. BEN

That sounds like a great deal! I bought my 03 performance about a year ago w/ 16K miles on it and when I bought mine it was about $26K OTD. (Plus 2250 negative from my Spec V I was leasing, damn impatience!) Enjoy the car!

come on now qbrozen, I can actually see your virtual nuts growing as we speak. Most people agreed 25k was a good price, so he got it for 385$ cheaper at 24,615, I would say thats closer than the 23 you suggested which is 1615$ cheaper. lol Im just messing around with you buy the way, so no hard feelings. Cheers, BEN

LOL! Yes, my chest was swelling with pride!

haha... no, really, it was $25K BEFORE taxes, etc. So he got it for quite a bit less (oh... like ... i dunno ... $23K? ). One other poster said $25K OTD. So that was pretty close, too.

He's right my 05 enthusiast was 27,400 out the door brand new...if you can scrape together another couple thousand i would go brand new...I was in your same situation whether i wanted an 03 for like 23000 or a new enthusiast..i went with the new enthusiast, i now know everythnig thats been done to the car...just one guys opinion.
