No you have to drive it 7 days a week or they will repossess it. Don't risk it.

Yep, that's kinda how my Z is now....No problems in a year and a half and just 8K miles, almost 2K of which came in one weekend (Tail of the Dragon).

I wish mine was a weekend only car. Got it in the end of June and am at 2500 miles already. Its way worth it though.

Me too, Got mine mothers day and I'm at 5,500+miles, headed to Vegas this weekend and Monterey in 2 weeks, that should add another quick 1000 miles!

Yeah, no problems with that. I have a 2003 I took delivery on in April of that year and just busted 10K on the odo yesterday. Haven't had problem one that folks would associate with leaving a car sit in the garage. I do check my tire pressures regularly and have changed the oil at 4 month increments instead of every 3K miles.

If you can afford daily transportation and have the Z for weekends, which is what I do, it makes it that much more fun to drive! hehehe...

I drive it only on the weekends only. Saturday and Sunday to be exact. The rest of the week it's garaged.

Unforuately, my Z generally only gets driven on Saturdays or Sundays. It stays in the garage the rest of the time. I took delivery on January 14, 2003. Approximately 7,100 great miles since then.

mine is in the garage most of the time... waiting between track events! I do drive it two or three times a month if my other car is running out of gas and I'm too lazy to fill it up. It's an '03 Track that I brought home January 25, 2003.... it has 23,000 miles, but more than half of that is from track events.

Keep the oil changed at regular intervals and watch tire pressure and you should be fine.

If you plan to let it sit for two or three months (or longer) you should think about adding a fuel treatment in the tank to keep the gas from going bad and clogging up everything.

Cheers,

PeteH
