Unhappy The Z is ruined...

Sunday had already started off bad... my girlfriend and I were arguing from the night before. I decided to go to her house early Sunday afternoon. They were having a party in the backyard... as soon as I walked in her brother came out and wanted to hear the nismo exhaust and test pipes so i took him for a ride around the block...it would be the last ride around the block for the Z... I take a corner a little too fast and boom... I nail a tree (which I took down) and hit a rock (about 2 feet tall) and managed to slide about 200ft.

There is more to the story... I dont know what Im gonna do... I would be surprised if the Z isnt totaled...

Ill try to post pics tomorrow...

sux... remember showing off always has its paybacks, i remember the first time i showed my buddys my new bike, and the words "look how fast i can go" came out of my mouth.....and then i wrecked. Thankfully my bike was only minorly damaged (minor fairing damage, only about $350 in damages). Now i know my limits when i want to show off the z or the bike.

Definitely sucks, but I doubt you're gonna get much sympathy on here. Shouldn't be surprised since that was a dumbazz move, but we've all been guilty of it at one point or another...

Damn sorry man. But learn your lesson from it. I learned my lesson on much less expensive cars and know to be careful now because of it, .

Yea, that's why I have a 1991 Nissan 240SX with 130 grand on it...b/c if I feel the need to go crazt and drift in a neighborhood, I don't need to do it with my baby.

My condolences...if I did that to my Z, oi...i'd be taking it pretty hard. Good luck with the insurance..

sorry to hear about that. i remember when i had my new miata some years ago
and it was my first sports car. one night i got a little excited and decided to
punch it in the middle of a twisty on a country road. didn't know that the ground
was damp and it sent me spinning like a bandit and off the road near a ditch.

flat spotted at least two of the tires and hit the grass so fast i had huge clumps
of grass stuck between the wheels and tires. thank God the body had next to
no damage other than a small scratch on the front bumpie.

hope you work things out okay.

Wow, I cannot believe how so many of you feel so superior and unsympathetic. Already asking to buy parts. Come on people!

As for me, I can just imagine how much that must've sucked.

But, maybe on the bright side, if it is totaled, you can get a new Z!
