Default Dealer Swap

I ordered my Z about 3 weeks ago and it will not get into around the 2nd week of January. However, I just noticed that another dealer in my area has the exact care I ordered withe the exact options. World my dealer be able to get a hold of that car by doing a dealer swap so I can have my car sooner or am I just going to have to wait to my order comes in???

I've heard they're not doing dealer swaps on the Z, but you could ask.......it may be gone by the time you check into it, though, or the other one may already be spoken for.

My order was no where to to seen. I think they screwed up my order. Think they got tired of me bothering them. My dealer got mine via a Texas dealership. Don't know how they did it and I don't care. All I know is I got it early.

I doubt that a dealer would give up a Z, because it is a quick/easy sale, but why not ask (if the dealer you are working with has a Z to trade, you may have a better chance)

I know for sure my dealer here in Oregon is doing dealer swaps. He's called me down a couple of times to look at Z's on their lot (I've ordered one for Dec/Jan delivery from him). Each time he showed me a Z they were preparing for delivery and on three occasions, he mentioned it was a dealer trade. So, it depends on your dealer and probably the demand. I'm starting to see more dealer inventory at the lots now.

That's how I got mine. Dealer in Concord Ca. said he could get me one in 2 hours and he called a dealer in Dublin Ca. and sent some one out to drive in back while I was filling out the paper work.
